4 variations on “Mir nach”, spricht Christus, unser Held. (3 pages)
These contrapuntally-dense variations may be performed either as a concert piece or in a liturgical context. The download includes a version for organ solo and one for baritone and organ. All variations could be used to accompany a singing congregation. Alternatively, the first three variations could be performed by baritone and organ (acting as the intonation), while the fourth variation could be used to accompany congregational singing. The text corresponds to the 4 verses of No. 461 in the Gotteslob.
